Product Description
PING G15 Fairway Wood
The elongated, low profile design of the Ping G15 Fairway Woodoffers a long, forgiving option for golfers who rely on the confidence of a larger head. An external weight pad on the sole of the stainless steel head positions the center-of-gravity low and farther back to provide higher trajectories and increased distance.
The Ping G15 Fairway Wood shares a lot in common with the G15 driver including the external sole weight pad and a slightly longer head design which Ping says increases the MOI compared to the G10. The biggest visual change is the low profile design that features a shallow face that further lowers the centre of gravity to help increase that MOI. In our tests the Ping G15 Fairway Wood performed very well and the sound and feel at impact was much more solid than the G10. At address it looks great with the new alignment aid first used in the Rapture woods, which thankfully replaces the moon graphic from previous G fairways. Visually the changes to the Ping G15 are not as noticeable as the performance changes, which give a good strong flight and can be moved left and right. Whilst this club is aimed at all golfers we feel it is ideal for mid to high handicappers as the forgiveness and trajectory are excellent.
Features of Ping G15 Fairway Wood:

consistent, long, forgiving, well balanced My 3 and 5 woods were the oldest clubs in my bag. I recently replaced them with a Ping G-15 4 wood (17.5*). My second round with the club was my best of the year. I am not a long hitter and rely on fairway woods and hybrids a lot. On the first hole, a long par 5, I hit a poor ntee shot and had a 196 yard third shot approach to the green over a bunker. I hit this 4 wood to 3 feet and made birdie. It feels well balanced and is easy to swing. The par 3's on my home course are all long (180 from the middle tees). I used this club on all 4 and parred 3 out of 4 using this club. Hit 2 greens, 3rd was pin high in a bunker and the fourth about 2 yards short/right. The club gives a mid high flight and lands softly (although rain made the greens quite receptive.) My mishits are fades/slices and they were minimal with this club. It is fantastic form the fairwat or tee. Just okay from the rough, depending on your lie. It has a low profile face
They are both very easy to hit. I was a bit worried about the shallow face, but after a few hits with PING G15 Fairway Wood, that was no longer an issue.
This PING G15 Fairway Wood is awesome! My fairway shots are greatly improved. I am much more consistent. I am very satisfied!
Thanks PING!!! The PING G15 Fairway Wood is one of the best golf clubs, very forgiving and easy to hit. At last, thank you for your kindness and wonderful service, I am very happy with the service you have given me and will gladly use you again!
