A Ping innovation called Straight Flight Technology (SF Tec) makes you extremely straight with your fairway woods. The Ping K15 Fairway Wood has an elongate head design that increases the moment of inertia by 25%.

 

It can improve accuracy and distance because the new design that together with an external weight pad ensures natural club head rotation . The low profile design of the K15 fairway wood lowers the center of gravity that is good for launching the ball higher.

 

Like the K15 driver, the K15 fairway wood uses Ping's patent pending Straight Flight Technology that utilizes an external weight pad to place 6% of the clubhead mass towards the heel of the club. This promotes a natural clubhead rotation through impact while the clever design means the external sole weight pad is barely visible at address.
